This is the old Thomas Chemicals building in Footscray. It is about to go under a rather large transformation.

The Channel Nine (9) building in the docklands. This building was designed by Metier 3 Architects and Meinhardt consultants. The building is located at 717 Bourke Street, Docklands, Melbourne.
The new National Australia Bank (NAB) building under construction in the Docklands. (I have shown the other NAB Building in the docklands here and here. This new building fills a small gap left beside Etihad Stadium, which is now becoming shrouded in what many would consider oversized buildings.
This is the lovely Fitzroy High School, Falconer Street, North Fitzroy. Designed by Mcbride Charles Ryan Architects. These lovely coloured, curved brick walls are the facade to an exciting arts space for the year 11/12′s at the school. They should be inspired.
Here is a selection of modern houses from Torquay at the start of the Great Ocean Road. They are all within the new “The Sands” estate. Love a bit of modern architecture.

When I took these photos of the ACI building in Spotswood on the 20th May this year, I had no idea the entire building was being demolished. Obviously parts were gone, but I assumed the facade would stay. Everything pictured in these shots has now gone (excepting the Westgate Bridge in the background of course!) See all ten shots on one page here. They include close-ups of brick walls, signs, grates, windows and doors.

The daily photobloggers have a theme day once a month. Todays theme is ‘doorways’. This is a shot of the Victorian Arts Centre front doors taken just last night. Three theatres are located inside, all of which are underground for better acoustics. The spire above this wonderful entrance can be seen here. The inside of this building is absolutely wonderful as well, with much polished metal, velvet, lush carpets and great light features.
