HDR High Dynamic Range

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and is the process of merging three photos (usually) into one image. The camera is set up to take three shots consecutively. One is at correct exposure, one is under exposed and one is over exposed. Software is then used to merge the pictures, obtaining the ‘best bits’ from each shot. Various filtering options are available for you to choose and apply for the final product. All my HDR shots can be found HERE.
