Threatened with extinction, these hooded plovers are found on the beach in Anglesea, Victoria. There are apparently only about 600 left within Victoria. You can see the Split Point Lighthouse off in the distance. |

Strange. This seagull, moments before I took this photo, was sitting quietly on the very still water down here in Williamstown. As I snapped he very suddenly dove down into the water to what I can only assume, was to catch his breakfast! |
