Royal Melbourne Show

The Royal Melbourne Show has been on during these current school holidays. It was originally designed to show your animals and win prizes, and to get small samples of new food products and the like. These days materialism has taken over and it’s now a large carnival and the showbags are what most go for. People come home with having spent far too much on bags which include blow-up toys, lollies galore, ridiculous head gear and silly gimmicks that all break within the next few hours. This shot was taken Thursday evening when I took my son (my daughter is going today with a party group). Usually the kids come home hyperactive and the parents come home with a headache… sound like fun? Well actually it is!! Official show website can be found here
